The sun is shining outside, not a cloud in the sky, and I don't think I've been this excited since I boarded the plane to relocate from Sweden to the US in March of 1996 to work for Borland International.
Just as I was then, I'm extremely excited, and I'm confident that February 8, 2006 will go down in history as an awesome day for existing and coming customers of all the IDE products, InterBase, etc.
I joined Borland because of awesome products, community, innovation, etc. I love helping people become successful with our tools.
Do I know for sure what's around the corner? No.
But I do know this for sure... We have a tremendous opportunity in front of us, a passionate team that is as excited and committed as I am, great technology, great products, and I believe that we can be wildly successful as a new entity.
In a way, I've waited for this day for almost 10 years.
