  1. I'm a current Architect level SA customer but I'm not sure where I go to actually get my copy of ER/Studio. Can you point me in the right direction please?

You can use the Launcher application that you received to download and install ER/Studio Developer Edition.

  3. Click the button on the install launcher. Download. Install. Register using your Delphi Architect serial number (or it will pick up the registration info if you already registered Delphi Architect).

  4. I think the idea of packaging a modeling tool with Delphi is wonderful. I have browsed through ER/Studio. It is feature packaged and a peppy performer. It needs an UI refresh as the current one seems dated and busy. I wish it would support more database systems, especially Firebird.

I am still debating whether to use the tool because Borland/CodeGear has had such a poor record of sticking with a tool. A tool is put in the box only to be later removed. Again, from business to technlogoy, constancy at Borland/Codegear has been a stranger. I don't want to invest time in something that I end up having to buy later. In Star Wars parlance, is ER/Studio the latest trick which would cause Admiral Ackbar to yell "It's a trap!"
