Where's my Chinese blog?

Nick's blog made it to China.

Nick, could you tell someone to flatter me too? Maybe if you blog about it... Go ahead. The counter down here wants some food! ;-)

Microsoft Java VM gets 13 more quarters

One of the results of the MSFT/SUNW $2,000,000,000 pact is that the MSJVM is supported until December 31st, 2007, instead of as planned until September 30th, 2004.

Together for Visual Studio - $199 - buy it now!

I never thought I would quote anything from the Yahoo Finance board... But here goes.

"The really interesting quote is about the price point for Together."

"Having $199 as a price tag for Together is like Borland going back to its roots... it's a complete change in the Borland strategy."

Close encounters of the Bill Gates kind

David I breaks the silence :-) and tells us what really happened when Bill Gates visited the Borland booth at VSLive! San Francisco earlier this year.

I was busy taking pictures, as you may have seen earlier in my blog, so I was too far away from the conversation to hear it. And of course I didn't stick to any of the pictures either... *sniff*

Happy 5th anniversary, Dale!

It was early afternoon on a sunny spring day in Delphi Developer Support on April 12th, 1999...

A couple of us were shooting the breeze... All of a sudden a tall guy in black joins us... We figure he's a customer wandering around on his own... Should we call security? After about 15-20 minutes he says something along the lines of "Oh, BTW, I'm your new CEO, great chatting with you guys"... We didn't believe him until the next day when it was announced.
