TDUG Tiburon Preview

David and I previewed Tiburon at TDUG this evening. David showed generics, anonymous methods, Unicode support in VCL, etc. I showed the new and enhanced VCL components.

They had a good crowd of about 35 people show up for this special short fuse event:

Tim Jarvis came to this meeting all the way from Down Under. Now, *that* is dedication! :)

See you in Toronto!

David and I are getting ready for an internal training event in Toronto. We'll also be at TDUG - check their page for details and RSVP to them. It should be a good event. I'm planning on bringing my camera and post pictures from there, so stay tuned.

Here's a picture of David debugging the studio equipment:

Can you hear me now?

Party!

Today we had a party celebrating the closing of the deal!

A lot of Embarcadero folks, including CEO Wayne Williams came down to celebrate with us CodeGearians.

Here's a shot of a small portion of the party:

Chris Bensen (photo geek extraordinaire) told me to get a picture of feet, so here you go:

I just couldn't resist shooting Michael Swindell off of Mark Howe's shades:
